” Such combined talents have created a yacht that scores highly on beauty and sophistication as well as efficiency, quality and technical innovation. ” The large, formal reception area captures the commitment of this yacht to flexible use, transforming from comfortable home into lavish entertaining venue. The clever use of a privacy glass wall to the well-equipped gym allows light to pour into the heart of the yacht, yet permits seclusion for the gym user. WHO WOULD NOT BE TEMPTED BY A WORLD CLASS, AWARD-WINNING 62 METRE SUPERYACHT, BRILLIANTLY CONCEIVED TO BALANCE PERSONAL RELAXATION WITH AN IMPRESSIVE ENTERTAINING ENVIRONMENT? Candyscape II is the result of a creative collaboration between the marine and aviation interior design team at Candy & Candy, naval architect and designer Espen Øino, and Italian shipyard Viareggio Superyachts. The designers describe their inspiration as the relationships between man, machine and nature, and this theme operates on every level. Natural light creates an infinite variety of moods within versatile spaces that can be opened up and closed down to meet the changing requirements of daytime and evening use. Contrasting textures of natural and forged materials are juxtaposed, and the mechanisms of technology are revealed, from the clever cogs that operate the sliding doors in the master suite, to the workings of the central glass elevator which connects all decks. The split-level master suite offers 180° views over the bow. The walk-in dressing area has intelligent mirrors; the Macassar ebony bed frame is gold-edged. There is a spacious VIP suite and four further guest cabins, all offering comfortable accommodation, all fully connected to the yacht’s entertainment and communication systems. Stitched leather floors, curved glass display cabinets, a stunning crystal chandelier and a transparent grand piano strike a timeless note, while the electronically-operated rosewood and onyx fins that rotate to divide the main saloon’s seating area from the dining room, are pure sci-fi. Even the dining table converts to a roulette/card table. The expansive aft sun deck also invites generous hospitality. Here, a rotating sun lounger automatically tracks the movement of the sun, and the oversized jacuzzi features inbuilt chromotherapy lighting. There is an illuminated bar and a 12 seat marble dining table which, at the touch of another button can metamorphose into a day bed or dance floor. Further luxurious and informal seating is located on the main deck. With work/life balance in mind, Candyscape II has a dedicated media room, with a 103” plasma screen for presentations or movies. Here you’ll also find the world’s first segmented Sun Orrery – a completely unique piece of artwork that charts the position of the planets in our solar system. A separate study houses a ‘his and hers’ double-sided desk, a hidden LCD television and a 3D projector linked to the navigation system, displaying the exact position of the yacht. ” Candyscape II is a masterpiece of naval architecture, a yacht that sets a new benchmark within its class for innovative design, quality and performance.
