Avid sailor Amanda McCracken is happiest aboard her Camper & Nicholson sailing yacht, which doubles as a summer office for writing articles and running her yachting journalist business. After 15 years at the helm of Boat International she still loves the cut and thrust of the superyacht industry and is currently editor of Boat International’s Best of the Best, a magazine she creates together with owners and high net worth individuals. Amanda McCracken Jonathan Margolis Jonathan Margolis is the consumer technology editor of the The Financial Times How To Spend It magazine and website. He also covers business gadgets for British Airways Business Life magazine, and presents the latest cool innovations on the FT’s Technopolis TV (www.howtospendit.ft.com/ technopolis-tv). In case you hadn’t guessed, he loves new technology and all gadgetry that makes life easier, safer, smarter and (importantly) more fun. Tanya Rose has been dubbed “the voice of luxury travel”. As founder of hotel representation and PR company Mason Rose and the exclusive invitation-only travel company Mason Rose Private, Tanya has become the trusted confidante of celebrities and captains of industry around the world. Her quest for authenticity in the midst of luxury has resulted in the beautiful book Travel Secrets, co-authored with her well-travelled friend and writer Martin Turner. Tanya Rose Rob Wood Rob Wood is a DJ, published author and music journalist, as well as the founder and creative director of the award-winning music consultancy service Music Concierge (www.musicconcierge.co.uk). He likes nothing better than designing bespoke playlists for very special venues. His clients include many of the world’s top hotels and clubs, bars and spas, restaurants and retail brands, from The Savoy and Harrods, to Mr & Mrs Smith and One&Only Cape Town. Harry Becher’s career began in the nightclub business, before a talent for making connections took him to the top concierge members club Quintessentially. Since 2006, his own company, IQ Partners, has been providing a discreet concierge service to elite clients worldwide. London-based, Harry is an active campaigner for breast cancer awareness through his fundraising initiative Too Many Women (www.toomanywomen.co.uk). He is happiest in Andalucia, Spain, sitting in the sun and eating tapas. Harry Becher Dan Borgonon Dan Borgonon is editor for feature films at Channel 4, the UK TV broadcaster and sponsor of new British film. A life-long cineaste, Dan has been getting lost in film for as long as he can remember. He travels to film festivals the world over and loves nothing more than discovering an unknown gem from a far-away destination, with the aim of bringing it to a wider audience. Travel writer Ondine Cohane divides her time between Tuscany and New York, with lots of trips inbetween. Among her favourites are Cambodia, Mexico, Japan and sailing off Sardinia and Sicily. She has been a contributing editor for Condé Nast Traveler since 2002 and she also also writes for The New York Times, Brazil Vogue and Details, among other publications.
