Built by Royal Huisman as a cutter-rigged ketch with drawings by Dixon Yacht Design and an interior crafted by Rhoades Young Design, ANTARES completed a huge 10- year Lloyd’s survey at Royal Huisman/Huisit in 2015. Her performance is powered by an MTU 8 V 2000 M70 engine allowing a comfortable cruising speed of 11-12 knots with a maximum of 14 when under moderate sailing conditions. With fully powered sail-handling functions, the main sail can be hoisted in just two minutes.
